is manufactured from 100% Kelvar® brand fiber

Firegard® Spun Gold® is wound to nominal 1 lb. king spools and is sold by the aggregate pound insuring you get what you pay for and pay for what you actually receive -- not yardage units that may or may not contain the indicated yards or expected weight.

Each case of FIREGARD® Spun Gold® THREAD is packed 25 spools
of approximately 1 lb. per spool (less than case lots available)

Tex 50 Firegard® Spun Gold® yields approximately
7900-8000 yards per pound

Firegard® Spun Gold® tape edge thread is tested by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. and approved for use in mattresses certified for open flame ignition resistance and carries the UL® component recognition label. (PHIX2)
